Pastor Darrell Palmes
As a husband, father, pastor, speaker, published author, and digital content creator promoting a healthy lifestyle, Darrell uses his gifts to provide people with the necessary tools to help them become the best version of themselves through Christ.
Prior to beginning his pastoral ministry, Darrell was an IT professional providing systems and network support to various companies in the Southeastern region of the United States. Until 2020, Darrell served as the Pathology IT director for Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. His most notable contribution while at Emory was helping the department share their story via broadcast media.
Darrell is also a subject matter expert in helping to eliminate food insecurities in urban communities, has planted two churches in the Atlanta area, and has published four books.
Darrell is a graduate of Oakland University with a bachelors in church leadership and a masters in community development. He is also certified in plant-based nutrition from Cornell University. He has served as an assistant pastor of the Decatur Seventh-day Adventist Church in Decatur Georgia, and most recently as the pastor of the Summerville and St. Stephen churches in South Carolina.
